CD: FOR SITTING

Meant as it’s name says for people that work sitting down (no matter of the age). They don’t take up much time. 13 Exercises, each is about 40 sec. long. You don’t need any special equipment, and all you need is 8 minutes of your time and some good will. After that you will fill less stiff, more nimble a cheerful. Exercise them 1-2 time a day and that is that.

DVD: FOR STRECHING

The new DVD from the workshop of Tonći Šitić, who this time shows us exercises for stretching. It is useful for those who are already attending therapy and are somehow involved in the rehabilitation process. It is also important for people that involved in sports to prevent injuries.

DVD: FOR SPINE

This DVD “Exercises for spine – medical gymnastic in 23 steps” continues where the last CD left off, it shows 23 carefully selected exercises, where the user can identify himself while doing them, they don’t need any special equipment or clothes, they can be done almost anywhere from you home to the gym, which is extremely important and is only product of it’s kind which is recommended by Croatian Society of Physiotherapists.

DVD: FOR LEGS

This is the logical continuation of the “Exercises for spine” DVD which was greatly adopted. Most of the questions were how to exercise the legs correctly, how to have an reminder after learning the exercises, and which exercises to do for which leg problems.

In the company of 16 diligent colleagues under the supervision of Dunja Barak-Smešny, spec. physiatrist and myself the first part of the “Basics of manual medicine” was held.

The course of organized by Croatian Society of Physiotherapists, and it took place in the „Sv. Duh“ hospital in Zagreb.

The second time in the kindergarten with even younger children. Another delightful experience where children with their brightness, without any inhibition, cheerfulness and “disobedience” treat you the physiotherapist as an equal, which was and honor and proved to be very enjoyable! We all forget that deep in our hearts we are all children so we should sit, crawl, walk with children and learn (again) how it is done!

After a short introduction appropriate to four year olds we started through play with medical exercises appropriate to their age.

We were doing the exercises on a ball with an elastic rubber band and without any other equipment, and were walking as bear cubs, stretching as cats…

Another delightful experience exercising with children.  There was a short lecture about being a  physiotherapist in agreement with the kindergarten head and the parents of the five year olds.

After a short introduction we started with medical exercises that were appropriate with their age.

We were doing the exercises on a ball with an elastic rubber band and without any other equipment.

The promotion of the DVD “Exercises for Legs – Medical Gymnastics in 33 Steps” PDF Print E-mail

In the Autoschool “Miramare”, Gradiščanska 13 the promotion od the DVD “Exercises for Legs – Medical Gymnastics in 33 Steps”.

There were 30 people attending. Antun Jurić held an appropriate speech, the chief physiotherapist form the “Sv. Duh” hospital, and afer that the presentation of the DVD had started with occasional questions. Later people could relax with dry figs, fried almonds, “Žutuja” and juices till 18h 30min. The event was followed by the team of the HTV’s Scientific – educational program, for which I am very thankful to them.

The seminar “Personal efficiency” mr. Marin Ančić and Tnoći Šitić and in organization with IM&C took place in the “Arcotel” hotel on the 1st of December 2005. There were about 50 people attending (professional secretaries). All finished successfully with high marks. Thanks to all that attended!
